The aim of the current development at Mega Kuningan is to increase and optimize access into the area via main road corridors, so that Mega Kuningan will be able to capitalize on opportunities to connect to neighboring areas. Internally, this will enhance existing support facilities and ensure optimum use of this precious land in the heart of the city. Externally, the expansion will support urban city planning by connecting Mega Kuningan to other major districts.

BKS-PPLK, as the developer and the estate management, has been granted the right to buy 12 hectares of land, which will extend Mega Kuningan to the west, closer to Jalan Jenderal Gatot Subroto. So far, five hectares of the land have been released. The extension to the west is projected to be finished in the next five years.

The 12 hectares of new land will become the west gate of Mega Kuningan and will be developed as a new commercial area, with lots ranging from 5,000 sqm. up to 1 hectare. Each lot is defined to have an average plot ratio (KLB) of 4, with building coverage (KDB) of 45%.
